Episode 6: Slides and amphibians

Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must convince some kids that they're the coolest contestant, travel the furthest while making a continuous noise, create an amusement park ride, get a sheet of loo roll as far away as possible, and communicate animals by saying letters and doing impressions.

There’s a running studio joke this episode that the show has gone over budget, and that Mark has rented out some things to make some money. This includes Lasse and Mark’s thrones (they spend the entire episode sitting on folding chairs), suits (which seem ill-tailored), and the Stormester trophy itself (which has been replaced with a gold balloon with a face crudely drawn onto it).

Title context

The episode title is a reference to several of the contestants' attempts at the 'Create an amusement park ride' task: Petra and Kathrine make slides for Mark, while Anders's son entertains him with a lecture on amphibians.

Assistant Intro

Note: Lasse sings this to the tune of the children’s song Se Min Kjole (‘Look At My Dress’). Chèvre is a French cheese made with goat’s milk.

Episode prize

Having announced her pregnancy during the previous episode’s studio recording, the prize Petra submits for this episode is the right to name her baby. She entreats the winner to at least consider a name that would fit with ‘Pelle’ and ‘Rosa’ (the names of her other children).
