Episode 5: The cabbage master
Episode synopsis
In this episode, the contestants must build a sand bridge across a river, do something remarkable under a table while waving, get the most interesting vegetable autograph, transport a teddy bear from a start line to a finish line, and get their towel into a bucket.
Title context
The episode title is presumably a reference to Professor Michael Broberg Palmgren, whom Anders Lund Madsen brings on to argue the case for him as to why pointed cabbages are the most interesting vegetable, during the 'Get the most interesting vegetable autograph' task.
Taskmaster Intro
Good evening, and welcome to Stormester, a competition of originality for sharp minds. No-one has yet missed out on the opportunity to win. But maybe the top will be from the bottom tonight.
Assistant Intro
[singing] Who is that sitting here? Right there, ah, let it be. He rarely has stinky toes. Mark le Fêvre.
Note: Lasse sings this to the tune of London Bridge is Falling Down.
Episode prize
The prize in this episode is a block of granite, brought in by Anders Lund Madsen. In a poetic monologue, he explains that the stone is from the grounds of Katarina Kyrka (the Church of Catherine) in Stockholm, Sweden, where he had proposed to his wife in 2011. He claims that the stone is the very one his knee landed upon, when he knelt to pop the question to her, and that he had subsequently returned to the location to dig it up as a keepsake.
Taskmaster's Sign-off
With a historical connection to a courtship and the Stockholm Bloodbath, the trophy is a stone from Stockholm, won by Petra Nagel. But who will win the whole season? If you've just tuned in, you missed it all. Thanks for tonight.
