Episode 1: An irresistible proposal

Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must hold some jugs above some microwaves, deliver a task to Mark in a superior way, sort some coloured sweets while greeting Mark as different professions, propose to Mark, and try to correctly count to 13.

Title context

The title of the episode is merely a reference to the 'Propose to Mark' task.

Taskmaster Intro

Good evening, and welcome to Stormester. Denmark's most entertaining duel for being inventive, and sneaky loopholes. A brand new fivesome sits ready, but who will do best?

Assistant Intro

No beginning of the series would feel right within your heart if I failed to acknowledge a man who has been my steadfast support. The rock I can always lean on. I care a lot about him. I love him. He is by my side whenever I need him. I am of course talking about the photographer on Camera 3.

Episode prize

The prize in this episode was Anders Lund Madsen’s ‘old self’, represented by a blue and white Hawaiian print shirt (which he often wears during tasks, over the course of the series), a red cap, and the hair he has had trimmed from his head. Anders is indeed looking much tidier in the studio that he does in the pre-filmed tasks, with shorter hair, a tidier beard, and a plain, neutral-coloured suit.
