Anders sorts by brand

Before opening the task, Anders decides to take a look at his surroundings, saying that he learned this lesson from B.S.

Christiansen (Danish former special forces soldier, now a TV personality).

While examining his surroundings, Anders realises that the task likely has something to do with sorting the sweets from the large bowl into the smaller dishes by colour, and so he starts to do so before opening the task, to give himself a head-start.

While sorting through the chocolates, Anders is shocked to find a purple one, as it’s not one of the main six colours present.

In the studio, Mark reveals that the bowl in fact contained five purple Skittles, which were deliberately placed in the bowl as another solution the contestants could have used (i.e. sort as ‘chocolate/not chocolate’).

It is revealed that this is precisely what Anders then did, before opening the task brief, reading it, and immediately saying the task-ending phrase, “I have sorted correctly”.

Anders therefore completed the task in just 21 seconds, and earns first place.
