Anders gets philosophical

After waffling back and forth as to whether he will open the task brief – with Mark repeating several times that he would not open it, were he Anders – Anders replies that grammatically, Mark is not Anders.

After some more time has passed, Anders poses a question to Mark: given that the knowledge that Mark would not open the envelope if he were Anders - if Anders were Anders, would Anders open it? Mark simply replies that the task brief must be opened, in order to be solved, then asks if Anders trusts him.

Anders debates opening the task brief again, before putting it back down, declaring the situation to be a “Gordian knot”.

At some point, Anders places the jugs of cordial inside their respective microwaves.

He opens the task brief after about 10 minutes, and is stuck holding full jugs of cordial until he makes the decision to end the task.

He admits to Mark that there was not enough trust present.

Anders’ total time is not given, but given that he places lower than Kathrine, it must have been under 11 minutes.

He earns fourth place.
