Jesper goes to the butcher

Jesper asks Mark what would be considered ‘goosebumps’ in the context of the task, and points out that the word ‘gasehud’ (‘goosebumps’) literally translates to ‘goose skin’.

Claiming to know the location of nearly every butcher in Denmark, Jesper then takes Mark to a butcher near the Stormester house, where he buys an entire goose.

Outside the butcher’s shop, then Jesper formally presents his goosebumps to Mark.

In the studio, Lasse asks Jesper how much the goose had cost, and Jesper says that he doesn’t remember actually paying for it.

This quickly becomes the subject of a technical discussion about the language of the task brief, with Lasse pointing out that the wording ‘fa gasehud’ (‘get/receive goosebumps’) would have forbidden Jesper from actually purchasing the goose himself.

As no more is said on the matter, it is presumed that either Mark or a member of production had actually paid for the goose, and so Jesper had technically been given it, making his attempt valid.

Jesper therefore manages to get goosebumps after 13 minutes and 49 seconds, and he earns second place.
