Jacob writes an autobiography
Jacob writes a picture book with text, and titles it ‘Jacob Moves to the Big City’.
Jacob’s story covers his early days of stand-up, telling off-colour jokes.
He becomes popular enough with audiences that he is noticed by talent scouts, who tell him to move to Copenhagen to be on television.
Jacob’s work schedule mostly consists of working in the evenings.
This is a problem because his next-door neighbours are renovating their apartment during the day, which means that Jacob cannot get his REM sleep.
Jacob’s work suffers as a result, so he moves.
Unfortunately, his new apartment is across the street from a church, and the loud church bells also wake Jacob up whenever he needs to sleep.
Jacob then thinks about where he’s always been able to sleep – and gets the idea to sleep inside the church instead.
The end of the story also advertises the other books in the series: ‘Jacob Drops Out of Architectural College’ and ‘Jacob Loses His Unemployment Benefits’.
Lasse awards Jacob first place.
