Thomas dresses for the occasion
Thomas mounts the spool of thread on one of the chopsticks.
He thinks for a while about what he can use to touch the thread, and decides on ‘sweater’, which he just happens to be wearing.
Using his sweater as a barrier between his hand and the thread, Thomas pulls out a length of thread from the spool.
He wets the thread by spitting on it, and – holding the needle with his sweater – carefully lowers the thread into the eye of the needle.
He threads his needle in 9 minutes and 55 seconds, and earns fourth place.
