Jacob the hip hop dancer
Jacob begins by stepping from side to side while shaking his arms, but neglects to convey to Thomas K, on the other side of the screen, what he is doing.
Eventually, Jacob gets around to some actual choreography, informing Thomas K that he wants them to do a ‘six-step’ on the floor.
Sensing Thomas K’s disbelief at his ability, Jacob challenges Thomas K to give him a dance move to do.
Thomas K tells Jacob to do the ‘Baby Freeze’ (a break-dancing move requiring a dancer to hold their legs in the air and their head on the ground, while supporting their weight on their hands).
In their final performance, Jacob is not particularly in sync with Thomas K.
Their dance does indeed end with a Baby Freeze, although Jacob ends up doing more of a ‘baby’ interpretation of the move, simply curled up on the floor, sucking his thumb.
He does, however, perform a (mostly) successful Baby Freeze in the studio.
Jacob earns fourth place, plus two bonus points for the best choreography.
