Karen tries to balance the bowl

Karen asks Paul whether the end of the broom handle is flat or rounded, to which Paul responds that it’s slightly curved.

She then asks him to get her something that has a flatter and broader end that she can more easily balance the bowl on while she is lowering it from the ceiling. Paul returns with two walking sticks, which are thinner than the broom, but Karen suggests they might still work, since there’s two of them.

They then discover that the sticks aren’t actually that long and that Karen is a bit taller than she thought.

She exchanges the broom for the sticks, and holds the bowl in place with them while she sends Paul to find something else more useful. He returns with a piece of pipe and a piece of wood, which Karen is very pleased with.

She swaps the walking stick out for the pipe and prepares to attempt to lower the bowl, balanced on the end of it.

At this moment, she discovers that the bowl is attached to the plank above, and gets annoyed at Paul, who starts chuckling and grinning.

She is still unsure if the bowl contains any glitter or not, so gets up on a chair, but is unable to pull the bowl down. She asks Paul to fetch her a knife, which she uses to pry the bowl off the plank it is glued to, finding out that it’s empty.

She quickly finds the bowl of glitter in the kitchen, and carefully places it in the fridge.

In the studio, it is revealed that she had held the bowl up for just under five minutes, and had completed the task in 10 minutes and 13 seconds, earning fourth place.
