Ray exploits some loopholes

Ray takes advantage of two loopholes in the task brief by moving the mat so it is directly beneath the hoop and placing the chair directly on top of it, before proceeding to do the slowest possible spins on the chair while holding the ball in both hands.

He admits that he is still somehow getting a bit dizzy, and sarcastically points out that it must be great TV footage.

He decides to stop after 30 very slow spins, before shooting the basketball into the net immediately above himself, and completing the task.

He earns first place.
