Marte learns Ståle’s resistance

During her preparation, Marte hits Ståle a few times, stating that it’s good to know about the resistance of one’s opponent, in order to figure out the best weapon to use against them.

Marte decides that her weapon needs to be big and heavy, and wonders if Ståle should be stoned.

She finds a decent-sized stone on the property and stands next to Ståle before throwing it towards the launch line, to test how far she can throw it.

When the stone falls short, Marte abandons this idea.

She instead searches the shed and comes out with a mallet, confidently declaring to the camera that she plans to bet everything on it.

Marte utters the warning phrase and then overhand-throws the mallet at Ståle.

The mallet bounces on the ground and just clips Ståle’s arm, but this appears to throw him enough off-balance that he then falls forwards.

Marte wins the task.
