Dai becomes DJ Gush Steady
Dai decides to open the task brief, after picking both of them up, claiming that it has more words in it.
He puts on a green wig, finds a keyboard and a tape recorder, and becomes “DJ Gush Steady”.
Performing in the study, he plays a dance track on the keyboard while portraying two people duetting on his song by wearing or removing a red wig.
The lyrics to his song are as follows:
[No wig]:
I’m just a man with 17 pants.
And the way that you look makes me wanna dance.
[Red wig]:
I’m just a girl with jeans and a fly.
You say, “Come over here”, and it makes me wanna cry.
[No wig]:
Well, come a little closer, cos I can be your man.
I will glaze your face and body like you’re a Christmas ham.
We don’t need to cuddle, I turn sheets into puddles.
It is all about the love and praise from above.
[Red wig]:
Then let’s get married. We won’t fight and bicker.
When the kids have gone to bed, I’ll ram-raid your knickers.
In the studio, Jeremy comments on the final lyric in particular.
Dai explains that if you go to a dance hall, there are usually people from all different backgrounds, and a left-field DJ with a serious substance abuse problem, who brings everyone together.
Dai earns 4 points.
