Aisling pioneers the banana barrier

As soon as Aisling opens the door and sees the set-up of the task, she exclaims “Uh-oh! I already know I’m going to be brilliant at this.”

In the caravan, she immediately grabs a fire extinguisher, which refers to as a “fire hydrant”. She then builds a larger platform atop the skateboard using a tennis racquet and a fruit bowl, and creates a barrier around the edge with mashed banana. Sitting on the floor, she examines the extinguisher and then hands it to Alex, who accidentally sets it off with his foot. The extinguisher starts spinning, expelling its contents, and Aisling accuses Alex of ruining it.

Aisling adds some string to her skateboard assembly, in an attempt to further secure the coconuts. With a rallying cry of “For Ireland, the greatest bobsleigh country in the world!”, she then lets the board go. A few coconuts fall off the skateboard as it moves, and it gets stuck on the edge of the ramp a couple of times, forcing her to manually push it to get it across the finish line. She then runs around, celebrating.

In total, 14 coconuts stay on Aisling’s skateboard, winning her the task by a single coconut, and earning her 5 points.
