Mark bare-backs it

When Mark sees the coconut harness In the caravan, he compares the decision about whether to use it or not to the ‘prisoners’ dilemma’. After looking around the caravan, he emerges with a few items: an apron, a wellington boot, and some sticky tape.

Mark carefully carries the coconuts to the top of the ramp, where he appears to simply attempt to balance them on the skateboard. After loading a total of 19 coconuts, he lets the board roll down the ramp, shouting “Stay on! Stay on!” When the skateboard comes to a halt, there are only two coconuts remaining on board, and Mark praises them by saying “Well done, boys.”

Mark concludes that he could have done better, but points out that he could still beat anyone who gets disqualified. He comes third and earns 3 points.
