Tammy’s wooden wallet

Tammy brings in a thin bill-fold wallet made out of wood.

She explains that every Christmas, her extended family exchanges Christmas gifts via a random draw and that, one year, her daughter had won this wooden wallet made by Tammy’s uncle, a cabinet maker.

Mona points out the stitching on the wallet, and says the wallet must be made out of cork, but Tammy insists that it is in fact made out of wood bark, and Antoine backs her up.

When Kevin asks how Antoine would know anything about the wallet, Louis, with a shocked look at the camera, informs Kevin that Antoine and Tammy have lived together for the last 20 years. Louis also notes that Kevin really should have noticed that the rest of them have made various jokes about their relationship, during the previous nine episodes. Kevin sheepishly replies that for all he knew, Tammy and Antoine were just dating casually.

Phil (later joined by Mona) chimes in with an explanation that Kevin might have an easier time understanding: “Antoine steals Tammy’s mother’s logs” (referencing Kevin’s own prize submission).

Louis awards Tammy first place.
