Jonis’ economic concept

Jonas says that he wants to be seen as “a wise and reflective type of guy”, and, as such, his chosen prize is an idea, rather than a physical item.

Jonas shares that he has had enough of the interest rate (season 9’s studio sessions filmed at the end of 2023, and the interest rate in Norway had raised steadily from 2.75% to 4.5% over the course of that year). He says he believes the interest rate is too high, and is being raised too often.

Atle tells Jonis that if he keeps up such discourse, he may get an invite to appear on Nytt På Nytt (the Norwegian version of Have I Got News For You, presented by former Kongen Befaler contestant Jon Almaas between 1999 and 2016). Jonis admits that he’s waiting for the phone call.

Atle finds it difficult to decide on a ranking for the prizes, so decides to award everyone 3 points.
