Suurmestari House (Season 3)
Stansvik Manor is located in the Laajasalo district of Helsinki in Finland. It has been owned by the city of Helsinki since 1938.
The main building of the mansion is currently used as a museum, and was built in 1803–1804, when it was owned by Captain Fabian Casimir Roswall.
Stansvik Manor began to function as an independent estate in 1798, before which it was a farm belonging to the estate of Degerö Manor.
After Captain Roswall, the manor was owned by the painter Emanuel Thelning between 1805 and 1817. After that, it was first owned by Edelheim and from 1856 by the Willebrand family.
The city of Helsinki bought the 100-hectare manor from the Willebrand family in 1938.
Since 1945, the manor's tenant has been the city's civil service association (now Jyty Metropoli ry).
In the 1950s, summer apartments were built on the former lands of the manor.
