Filmhuset (Seasons 1 - 3, 10- )

Filmhuset (The Film House) is located at Borgvägen 1 in Gärdet, in the north-eastern part of Stockholm's inner city.
The building was designed for the Swedish Film Institute by architect Peter Celsing and built between 1968 and 1970, entering use in 1971. The 140-meter-long building was designed to resemble a camera, with the lens facing north. The brutalist raw concrete design is typical of the era, and consists of concrete elements designed to look like film strips. The building is blue-labelled by the Stockholm City Museum, meaning that it is considered to have 'exceptionally high cultural and historical value'.
The building houses recording studios and three cinemas, as well as two floors of office space. Occupants include the Swedish Film Institute, the Cinematheque, the Swedish Arts Council, Stockholm University's Unit for Film Studies and Centre for Fashion Studies, and various production companies. Visitors must climb a long ramp to reach the building's main entrance.
