Biography

Jorma Leo Kalevi Uotinen (born on 28 June 1950) is a Finnish dancer and choreographer.

He has been the artistic director of the dance group of the Helsinki City Theater (1987–1990), the Finnish National Ballet (1992–2001) and the Kuopio Dance and Soi Festival (2002–2019).

As a dancer and choreographer, he has worked in Finland and abroad since 1970 in several different dance groups.

In his career, he has received several Finnish and international awards as well as honorable mentions.
