Jorge Mourato
Biography
Jorge Mourato (born on 21 June 1974) is a Portuguese actor.
He made his TV debut in 1999, in the series Residencial Tejo. Since then, he has participated in the Médico de Família ['Family Doctor'], in the soap operas Vingança and Floribela, and in the series Aqui não Há Quem Viva, 7 Vidas, Maré Alta, Não Há Pai and Tudo sobre....
For a few months in 2003, he presented with Fátima Lopes on the SIC show 10 Horas ['10 Hours']. He also presented a programme on supernatural behaviour in human beings.
In 2011 he joined the fixed cast of the SIC telenovela Laços de Sangue, which won an Emmy.
Jorge has been nominated twice for a 7 Days TV Trophy: in 2010, for Best Actor in the Comedy category for his participation in Companhia das Manhãs (2009); and in 2014, for Best Actor in the Series category for his work in Bem-Vindos a Beirais (2013).
