Task brief
The task brief is received in a field where David stands behind a table. The brief for the task is as follows:
Pop the balloon.
Fastest wins.
You may not move or leave the mat.
You may buy equipment with time penalties.
Your time starts when David rings the bell.
Task notes
- On the table there is a display case containing BB guns (costing 2 minutes each, and each only containing one shot), darts (costing 1 minute for three), arrows (costing 1 minute each), throwing knives (costing 30 seconds each), and potatoes (free).
- Also on the table is a bow for firing the arrows, a wrist guard to use with the bow, a hand bell which David uses to signal that the time has begun, and two pairs of safety goggles.
- The contestants stand on the others die of the table, on a small circular red mat.
- A helium balloon is secured to the ground approximately 12m away.
