Everyone gets clean hands while failing to understand the game
There is a brief running joke involving Linda, during the reading of the task brief, who’d had some difficulty reading the live task brief during the previous episode (eventually delegating it to Thomas). Mark says that he has learned his lesson, and so hands the task directly to Thomas to read. After Thomas reads the part instructing the contestants to make the noise that the previous contestant was instructed to make, he stops reading, and everyone stares at Linda. When Thomas reads the part about Mark knocking down their soap towers if they make a mistake, Linda threatens Mark to warn him off of even trying that with her.
In the first round, Mark asks Lasse what a cow sounds like, and Lasse does not answer. Mark then asks Eva what a pig sounds like, and Eva unenthusiastically moos. Before Mark can even ask Jacob about the next animal, Jacob moos more enthusiastically than Eva had. However, since this was not the correct action for him to do, Mark knocks over his soap tower (really just the few bars of soap he had retrieved from the bathtub so far). Mark then asks Linda what a horse sounds like, and she replies that Lasse hadn’t actually said anything yet. It seems that Linda does not fully understand the task, but is also deliberately playing up her level of misunderstanding for laughs. She also insists that she has a plan, and it is notable that she has not yet placed any bars of soap on her table, which means that Mark has nothing to knock down. Lasse tells Mark to just move on to Thomas, so Mark asks Thomas what a horse sounds like, and Thomas unenthusiastically moos. Linda then chimes in to share that she now understands the task, and that she will answer if asked again. Lasse points out that technically, they are still waiting for someone to respond with a pig sound. Mark then moves on and asks Sofie what a horse sounds like. When Sofie argues that Mark shouldn’t be asking her about the horse again, Mark points out that the reason he is doing so is because everyone else had messed up. Sofie neighs like a horse, and so Mark knocks over her soap tower.
After a disastrous first round, the game continues. Lasse once again reminds everyone about the pig. Mark now asks Eva what a horse sounds like, and Eva oinks like a pig in response, causing the audience to cheer in celebration. Mark then asks Jacob what a frog sounds like. Jacob, after a panicked hesitation, yells that “It squeaks, dammit!”, and Mark knocks over his (at this point, quite large) soap tower. Mark then asks Linda what sound a frog makes, and Linda excitedly moos, before crowing that she still has no tower for Mark to knock over. Mark moves on and asks Thomas what a frog sounds like, and Thomas hesitantly makes a noise that sounds vaguely like a whinny. The audience cheers, and Lasse shrugs in acceptance (likely because the game has already gone so poorly). Mark then asks Sofie what a monkey sounds like, and Sofie runs out of time while trying to think of the correct answer, leading mark to knock down her tower.
In the third round, Mark begins by asking Eva what a monkey sounds like. Eva hesitates, then simply responds with a “Hi!”, leading Mark to knock down her tower. Mark then asks Jacob what a monkey sounds like When Jacob pretends to be a monkey in response, Mark knocks down his tower, too. Mark then asks Linda what a monkey sounds like, and Linda also pretends to be a monkey but, once again, still has no tower for Mark to knock down. At this point, Sofie pipes up to question why the answers are all wrong. Mark then asks Thomas what sound a monkey makes, and Thomas saves the day by being the only contestant to have consistently understood the game at this point, and croaking like a frog, to cheers from the audience. Mark then asks Sofie what sound a chicken makes. Sofie hesitates to think, then finally understands the game, and correctly makes noises like a monkey.
Mark calls time on the game, at which point Linda quickly knocks over her table and stands on top of it, holding a single bar of soap in the air (a strategy which Thomas quickly adopts, by holding a single bar of soap above his own tower). Lasse compliments Linda’s creative thinking, but declares this strategy against the rules, and awards her last place. He awards Eva’s short tower fourth place, and Sofie’s mid-size tower third place. For once, Jacob fails to live up to his name on Stormester (‘Taarnhøj’ means ‘high tower’, and he’d previously managed to build the tallest towers in the ‘Make the largest stack’ and ‘Make the tallest lemon tower’ tasks), as he actually only builds the second-highest tower, with the victory going to Thomas.
