Wil paints a sponger with a plunger

Wil picks a sink plunger from the bathtub.

He uses the handle of the plunger to apply paint to the canvas.

The painting depicts someone in bed, but it is quite hard to make out exactly what is happening. With Tom Gleeson not having been able to identify Josh’s painting, Josh threatens to leave the stage before the credits roll, if he correctly guesses Wil’s.

Wil admits that he’s not sure he would know what it was, if he hadn’t painted it himself, and Tom Cashman shares that when he was clarifying with the contestants earlier what their paintings were, it seemed like Wil had already forgotten.

Tom Gleeson takes a stab at guessing, saying “Maybe sponger?”, leading Wil to jump up and yell in celebration, as Josh quietly leaves the stage in protest.

Because Tom had made a lucky guess at what his painting was of, Wil earns 2 points.
