Sointu constructs an object

Sointu heads to the shed, and starts to test a few rake handles to see if they will fit through the doughnut. Having found one that does, Sointu duct-tapes it to another rake and then a broom. As she does so, she states to Pilvi that either her plan will be “a fiasco”, or she will be “a fucking genius”.

She instructs Pilvi to hold the doughnut up near her face, promising that she won’t poke Pilvi’s eye out. Carefully, Sointu then pokes the end of her rake construction through the doughnut hole, calling it “art”.

In the studio, Jaakko poses a hypothetical to Sointu: if he were to drive his car into a tunnel, then reverse out, has he actually gone through the tunnel? Sointu argues that as far as she is concerned, as it relates to the task at hand, he has.

When Jaakko states that Sointu’s entire construction had not passes through the doughnut, Sointu insists that it had “visited” and should therefore count.

Of Sointu’s 5 metre long construction, only the first 30cm is counted, and she earns fourth place.
