Anne catches a mandarin in a flamingo
While looking around for inspiration, Anne finds a flamingo-shaped jug and a fake tomato which just fits inside the jug. She therefore decides to create a scenario in which she could fluke catching the tomato in the jug.
In her chosen scenario, Anne stands holding the jug outside the house, below the balcony, while Tom stands on the balcony holding the tomato. Independently, the two then move to a random position within a designated distance from their starting positions, and Tom drops the fake tomato. Only after Tom has dropped the tomato is Anne allowed to move to catch it. At some point, the tomato is swapped out for some mandarins.
For their first two attempts at the challenge, Anne and Tom are misaligned, and she is unable to reach the mandarin in time to catch it. However, on their fourth attempt, they are almost perfectly aligned, and Anne manages to successfully rotate and catch the mandarin in the jug, before throwing it into the air in celebration.
Anne earns 5 points for her flukey catch.
