Wil’s pantsless bear
Wil brings in the iconic Australian children’s character Humphrey B. Bear, relying on the fact that Lloyd had grown up in Wales and was therefore less likely to have heard of him.
When Lloyd confirms that indeed he hasn’t heard of him, Wil explains that the character was a bear who wore a waist jacket and no pants, but also never talked.
Lloyd comments that in the UK there were also a lot of children’s entertainers who didn’t wear pants (referring to multiple entertainers who were exposed for their historical acts of sexual abuse by Operation Yewtree). Tom Cashman adds that he probably would have stayed silent as well, if he’d behaved like them.
Wil earns 2 points.
