Jack’s Godfather of Soul

Jack brings in an animatronic figurine of the singer James Brown, aka The Godfather of Soul.

He notes that the show doesn’t have the budget to broadcast the sound of the toy singing one of his songs, so he instead tunelessly speaks the famous lyrics “Ooh, I feel good”. When Greg claims that the show is also not permitted to speak the lyrics, Jack offers the copyright-safe alternative “Ooh, I feel wood”.

Footage of the animatronic figure in action is then shown on the screen, with Jack providing his custom soundtrack, until the toy’s head detaches from its body, and it falls over.

Greg awards Jack 3 points for choosing The Godfather of Soul but then showing him “behead himself on television”.
