Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must: bring in the object with the most soul; put a rocket in their pocket; recreate a famous 2D piece of art in 3D; win a pub quiz by cheating; and then rustle Russell, fill Phil, mark Mark, rob Rob, and pat Pat.

Title context

Greg Davies notes that Babatunde Aléshé had “labelled the orcas the gangsters of the sea” after Babatunde decided to refer to an orca as a “killer whale” because “that sounds gangster”, during his attempt at the ‘Put a rocket in your pocket’ task.

Taskmaster Intro

Hello! Thank you. Thank you, everybody. Welcome to Taskmaster, the Olympics for funny people. And, like elite athletes, our comedians have been in training for this their whole careers, and similarly one slip up could see them never compete again, lose their homes and end up singing Sweet Caroline in a high street, having drunk a pint of plant feed they stole from a garden centre. The stakes are high and the rewards are low. Let's meet them now.

Assistant Intro

And, sitting next to me, a man who secretly confided in me that he doesn't think community liaison officers are real police, and challenges any of them who meet him to kick him hard in the gooch. It's Little Alex Horne!
