Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the most serious object that looks quite silly, remember the names of 10 fine people, become a multi-headed creature, capture remarkable footage on a doorbell camera, and spin a wheel of fortune. Also, they are all given the opportunity to double their points in any future task by donning a hot dog costume.

Title context

Babatunde Aléshé says “…and then a detective comes in”, while describing his experience of meeting his team-mates for the first time, during in-studio discussion of the ‘Become a multi-headed creature’ task.

Taskmaster Intro

Hello! Welcome to Taskmaster. Five comedians, naked as the day they were born, fighting to the death using primitive weapons. Sure, we’ve had to tweak the original format, but it’ll still be fun. Let’s welcome our warriors once again.

Assistant Intro

And next to me, a man who doesn’t know what colour his bedroom walls are, because he’s put so many posters of Howard from Take That on them. It’s Little Alex Horne!

Note: Greg is referring to Howard Donald, a member of the popular 1990s boy band, Take That.
