Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Rustle Russell, fill Phil, mark Mark, rob Rob, and pat Pat.
When Alex blows his whistle, you must all immediately either say one word to the person next to you, or perform one action.
The people may only say yes or no.
If you perform the wrong action, you are disqualified.
You will then meet a new person.
First person to perform all the right actions to all the right people wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are all seated on the stage, divided by screens.
- Each contestant is seated next to a middle-aged male stranger by the name of Russell, Phil, Mark, Rob, or Pat.
- Each of the men is wearing a TM-branded overalls, is holding a clipboard with five TM-branded red stickers, and has five pencils in their right breast pocket.
- Each contestant is holding a wad of cushion stuffing and a piece of chalk.
- If the contestants think they are sitting next to Mark, they must indicate this by using the chalk to make a mark on his clipboard.
- If they think they are sitting next to Pat, they must indicate this by patting him on the head.
- If they think they are sitting next to Russell, they must indicate this by ‘rustling’ him.
- If they think they are sitting next to Rob, they must indicate this by stealing (‘robbing’) one of his pencils.
- If they think they are sitting next to Phil, they must indicate this by putting their stuffing down the top of his overalls (‘filling’).
- If the contestants perform a correct action, the man they are seated next to places one of his stickers on their arm.
- The first person with five stickers wins the game and earns 5 points, while no-one else earns anything.
- The contestants may only ask one question or perform one action during each turn.
- After each turn, Alex instructs the men to all get up and move to sit by the next contestant.
