The brief for the task is as follows:
Estimate how many existing Swedish first names you can say in 10 seconds that all start with the same letter.
The one who can then say the most correct first names – but neither more nor fewer than their chosen number – within their 10 seconds, wins.
Task notes
- This task takes place during the ‘Middle of the Show’ segment, as a game titled ‘Hur många namn kan du säga på 10 sekunder?’ (‘How many names can you say in 10 seconds?’).
- The contestants remain in their seats and are each equipped with a small chalkboard, on which they must write a number to represent how many names they think they will be able to list in 10 seconds.
- An initial letter is chosen for each contestant at random, at the start of their turn, through the spin of a wheel of fortune with 23 segments. 22 of the segments are labelled with letters of the alphabet (the letters omitted are Q, W, X, Z, Å, Ä, and Ö), while the twenty-third is labelled ‘Valfri’ (indicating that they would have a free choice of letter).
