Season synopsis
Season 7 of the show began airing on 24 February 2023.
The fixed contestants for the season are Henrik Nyblom, Linnéa Wikblad, Markoolio (who previously appeared as a guest contestant in season 1), and Nikki Amini.
The guest contestants for the season are: Amie Bramme Sey, Anne Lundberg, Carina Berg, Edvin Törnblom, Evelyn Mok, Janne Andersson, Johar Bendjelloul, Måns Möller, and Marcus Berggren (previously a fixed contestant in season 6).
A caravan and phone box have been added to the site of the current Bäst i Test house this year.
The live studio recording sessions took place between 23 November and 1 December 2022.
Notes
- In the episode of Taskmaster: The People's Podcast released on 22 July 2022, David Sundin revealed that production of season 7 of the show was due to begin within two weeks, and that one of the fixed contestants would be one of the guest contestants from season 1.
- On 1 August 2022 the official Bäst i Test Instagram account shared a short video of the 'shed' (storage unit) being moved into place next to the current Bäst i Test house, ready for production of the pre-filmed tasks.
- On 19 August 2022 the official Bäst i Test Instagram account shared a photo of season 6 contestant Marcus Berggren at the Bäst i Test house, with the caption 'For better or for worse - he's back!', indicating that he would be one of the guest contestants for season 7.
- On 13 October 2022 the official Bäst i Test Instagram account shared images of all nine guest contestants for the season, pixellated to hide their identities, and shared that the names of the entire cast would be revealed the following day.
- As promised, on 14 October 2022, the unpixellated versions of the guest contestants' images were shared on Instagram, along with photos of the fixed cast members for the season.
- On 26 October 2022, another image was posted on Instagram, revealing that the Karate Man character would be returning to the show again during this season.
- On 10 November 2022, tickets to attend the live studio filming sessions between 23 November and 1 December 2022 were made available via the inspelningar.se website, and sold out immediately.
- On 24 January 2023, Babben and David revealed in their Instagram stories that the season would begin airing on 24 February 2023.
- On 16 February 2023, the guest contestants for each of the first nine episodes of the season were revealed in an article on FilmTopp.se.
