Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants have to quietly eat an egg, have the longest telephone conversation, stretch a rubber band in an exciting way, get the lowest number of ‘yes’s from the audience, make all the things happen at the same time, advertise one of Babben’s products, and play Babben’s Whac-a-Mole. The guest contestant in this episode is Johar Bendjelloul.

Alternate Titles

  • On Finland's MTV Katsomo streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Munamestarin maratonpuhelu', which translates as 'Egg master's marathon call'. This is a reference to the 'Quietly eat the egg' and 'Have the longest telephone conversation' tasks. [Translator credit: zador]

    Taskmaster Intro

It's spring and it's Friday, which means Bäst i Test with Babben Larsson. If you're new to the show, I can inform you that we let people without much heed for dignity perform various tests.

    Contestant Intros

This year, the tests are performed by the following sweeties...
The sophisticated sponge cake, Linnéa Wikblad.
    The crumbled cookie, Henrik Nyblom.
The cheery chiffon cake, Nikki Amini.
    The Finnishing touch, Marko Lehtosalo.
And this week's guest is the P1-journalist raised on spettekaka: Johar Bendjelloul!

Note: P1 is a nation-wide radio station. Spettekaka (‘spit cake’) is cake prepared on a spit, primarily in southern Sweden.

    Assistant Intro

I could supervise every test myself, measuring and so on, but I do actually have a life. Fortunately, not everyone does, so kudos to my assistant who handles the dirty work: David Sundin!

    Taskmaster's Sign-off

What have we learned tonight? Ask a question, get an answer. Don’t eat eggs whole. And mum doesn’t hang up, no matter how weird the conversation gets.
