Season synopsis

Season 8 of Bäst i Test started airing on TV4 on 12 January 2024.

The panel of contestants - which, for the first time, does not include episodic guest contestants - consists of Johan Petersson, Maria Lundqvist, Behrouz Badreh, Mauri Hermundsson and Charlotta Björck.

Former season 4 contestant Anders Johansson (aka Ankan) also makes recurring appearances as a guest team member on team tasks throughout the season.

The studio filming sessions took place at NEP Studios in Stockholm between 21 November and 1 December 2023.

Notes

  • On 19 June 2023, it was reported that recording of the pre-filmed tasks for season 8 would be taking place between 31 July 2023 and 31 October 2023.
  • On 3 November 2023, TV4 announced that the season would begin airing on 12 January 2024, and that the contestants would be Johan Petersson, Maria Lundqvist, Behrouz Badreh, Mauri Hermundsson and Charlotta Björck.
  • Tickets to attend the live studio filming sessions at NEP Studios in Stockholm between 21 November and 1 December 2023 were made available via inspelningar.se on 6 November 2023 but appear to have been snapped up within hours.

Notes on discrepancies

  • Due to an error on the scoreboard for episode 9, Charlotta ends up being shown as earning one less point that she actually earned during the season, while Maria ends up being shown as earning one more point than she actually earned. This did not affect who was named as the winner of the season.
