The brief for the task is as follows:
Write the names of all of your colours in different colours.
You must not write the name of a colour in that colour, or use the same colour twice.
Every word must be legible, and you must not remove your gloves.
Most correct words in the correct colours wins.
You have 100 seconds.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each seated at an old-fashioned school desk.
- On each desk, there is a blank white canvas with a piece of wood attached to the top, so it can be hung from the edge of the desk at the end of the task.
- The contestants are all wearing pairs of gloves onto the fingers of which felt-tip markers in 10 different colours have been attached.
- They soon discover that the colour of the cap on each marker is different from the colour of the ink within.
