Taskmaster Intro
Kia ora koutou, and welcome to Taskmaster New Zealand. My name is Jeremy Wells, and I'm sitting on this awe-inspiring golden throne because thanks to some potentially career-ending photographs that I have of certain TVNZ executives, I am the Taskmaster. Sometime in the past, I asked five comedians to degrade themselves on tape for my pleasure. Tonight, we're going to watch some of those tapes to find out who, if anyone, deserves to win this: a trophy of my head, made from lead paint and pure asbestos. In the running for this incredible prize is our incredible cast.
Note: 'Kia ora koutou' is Māori for 'Hello everyone'.
Assistant Intro
And by my side is a man whose determination to one day earn my respect never ceases to make me laugh ― it's Paul Williams.
Taskmaster's Sign-off
We learnt that Ray O'Leary has the lungs of a Victorian child labourer. But most importantly, we've learnt that Karen O'Leary is the winner of episode five.
