Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the best thing for a grown-up that is meant for a child, make a surprisingly pleasant sausage, complete a series of tasks as a team, recreate a famous artwork across 100 memo squares, and roll their animal dice.

Title context

Sam Campbell refers to Sue Perkins and Susan Wokoma as “dynamite chicks”, while advocating for them to receive points for their effort during the ‘Complete all the tasks as a team’ task.

Assistant Intro

And next to me, a man who once got dragged six miles across open countryside by grabbing what he believed to be a horse’s fifth leg. It’s Little Alex Horne!

Taskmaster's Sign-off

So, what have we learned today? We’ve learned that art is truly subjective. Some people like Van Gogh Wan’s chickens. Some people don’t. With paintings, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. As the Mona Lisa herself said: [imitating E.T.] “Phone home”.

Note: “Van Gogh Wan’s chickens” is a reference to a few jokes made during the 'Recreate a well-known piece of art on 100 memo squares' task. Lucy Beaumont joked that she’d mixed up the artist Vincent Van Gogh with the fashion consultant and TV presenter Gok Wan. Also, Greg commented that Lucy’s recreation of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers looked like it had a few chickens in it. Greg’s E.T. impression is based on his comment that Sue Perkins had made the Mona Lisa’s hands look like E.T’s.
