Jack stuffs a bag of rocket in his pocket

After entering the lab, Jack asks if the flashing light is being operated manually, or by a machine. Alex responds that it shouldn’t actually be happening, and that it’s a warning system.

Having read the task brief, Jack immediately picks up the air rocket from the table and puts it in his pocket, but Alex tells him it’s not a rocket, but a “tube”.

Jack leaves the lab and begins searching the living room, commenting – while standing right next to the model of the orca with a rocket in its mouth – that “It’s going to be staring at me, isn’t it?”. He then leaves the living room and enters the kitchen, where he quickly finds the bag of rocket leaves in the fridge, and stuffs the whole bag into his pocket.

In the studio, when Greg observes that Rosie and Jack were “two grown adults, genuinely thrilled that they put salad in their pockets”, Jack responds with “Oh, come on. You should try it sometime. It’s good.” When Greg suggests that Jack and he hang out together sometime, Jack responds with “Yeah, I’d like that”, but his face and tone say otherwise.

Andy takes exception to Rosie’s and Jack’s solutions, asking for clarification on the wording of the task brief, and then pointing out that it had said “a rocket”, and not “a piece of rocket” or “a bunch of rocket”.

After Alex reveals that Jack had put rocket in his pocket after 1 minute and 59 seconds, Greg rules that he is going to allow Rose’s and Jack’s solutions, noting that he might not have done so if it weren’t for Andy’s objection.

Jack therefore earns 5 points.
