Rosie creepily seeks consent, and then mugs the soundman

Having read the task brief, Rosie seeks consent from Alex by asking “May I touch you?”, but manages to say it in such a tone that it actually feels creepy. In the studio, Greg asks for a replay of the moment, which he characterises as “the creepiest moment in Taskmaster history”.

Back in the lab, Rosie quickly decides that it’s unlikely that the locket is actually in Alex’s jacket. However, she decides to pick one of the pockets which has a piece of paper in it, and finds the handwritten note warning her not to trust sound people or make-up artists. After reading this, she simply says “Well, you don't need to tell me that. They're all pieces of shit.”

She then approaches the sound man in the room, and asks whether the locket is in his pocket. When he shakes his head, she does not believe him, and starts searching all of his pockets. After fishing his wallet out of one of his pockets, she removes the cash from it and keeps it for herself, before returning to Alex.

Rosie then realises that the locket could be in one of her own pockets, and eventually finds it, before calling Alex a “sneaky bugger”.

In the studio, when Greg repeats what Rosie had said about sound people and make-up artists, she responds by saying “I mean it” directly into her lapel mic. When questioned about the fact that she’d stolen the soundman’s cash, she responds “Yeah. Neil was lying to me. The least I could do was rob him.”

Alex reveals that Rosie had picked five of Neil’s pockets, five of her own, and three of his, making a total of 13 pockets picked. This earns her 4 points.
