Sofia kicks the task brief
Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.
Sofia is immediately disappointed at herself for not having her phone in her pocket. She asks to borrow David’s phone, or for him to fetch her phone, both of which he declines.
She experiments with a fishing rod, until David happens to mention remote-controlled cars and she starts searching for one, before David mentions there isn’t one in the shed. Sofia abandons the fishing rod after losing her train of thought.
She then punctures a soccer ball with a screwdriver, cuts the paper into strips, cuts open the ball along its seam, stuffs the paper inside, and seals it back up with duct tape.
Before kicking the ball stuffed with paper, she attempts to kick a few other footballs to practice. Her first three kicks all manage to hit the same tree about 10 metres in front of the shed, but subsequent attempts make it about 25 metres.
Her attempt with the paper-stuffed ball is one of her best, but it bounces off a rock and doesn’t roll very far. Her final result is 14.7 metres, and she earns 3 points.
