Ben expresses his excitement to meet Hayley

Hayley enters the lab first and has to wait for a while before Ben arrives. When he does, he smacks the curtains wide open, and he and Hayley spend a moment staring at each other, screaming and pointing, before going in for a big hug.

Ben starts saying “This is the best!” throwing a red streamer across the table and then wrapping it around while he and Hayley dance excitedly together. When Ben then claims that they might have just become best friends, Hayley instigates another hug. Ben then starts spinning on the floor, ‘breakdancing’ out of happiness, before doing a high kick.

When Hayley points out that when Ben had hugged her, he’d managed to pop her bra strap, Ben makes sure to emphasise that that’s just how excited they are to see one another.

Hayley admits to feeling betrayed in studio, but Ben promises that only the streamer and breakdancing were because of the task, and that everything else would have happened regardless. He also notes that he’d subsequently read the “Your time starts now” line of the following pasta task without pausing, which was an obvious sign of his genuine excitement.

For appearing the most excited to meet his team-mate, Ben earns his team 5 points.
