Joonas makes a hot plate volcano

Joonas’ chosen items include “fist-sized sauna stones”, a hot plate, a saucepan, some lighter fluid, and some chicken wire.
Joonas sets up the hotplate and saucepan, then wraps the chicken wire around it in a volcano shape. He fills the saucepan with what is later identified as a combination of puréed tomatoes and mustard (because, as Joonas later explains, he wanted an orange colour) and, as it starts to heat up and come to a boil, Joonas stacks the sauna stones around the chicken wire to hide it and solidify the volcano shape.
His end result is a fairly convincing volcano, with lava bubbling inside.
In the studio, everyone is complimentary of Joonas’ efforts, and unsurprisingly, he wins the task.
