Tofiga and Bubbah aggravate one another

When Tofiga starts his conversation with “Hello, stranger. How old are you?”, the stranger replies with “Old enough”.

Tofiga then asks them what special event happened in the year they were born, and the stranger replies that “Tupac died”. When Tofiga admits to Paul that he doesn’t know when Tupac died, Paul says “Did he even die?”.

It is then revealed on-screen that Tofiga’s stranger is the former Taskmaster NZ contestant Bubbah. When she replies to him “Don’t you know when Tupac died you dumbass?”, Tofiga responds with “Where do you live? You’re going to see Tupac when I find you.”, and comments to Paul “Let’s see who’s a dumbass now”.

Bubbah giggles at Tofiga’s response and responds with “Come find me then, you bitch”.

Tofiga back off from the aggression and asks her who the captain of the All Blacks rugby team was when they were born. Bubbah replies with “No idea, old man”, before returning them to conflict by asking “Why do you text so slow? Are your fingers too big for the keyboard?”. Tofiga texts back “Ask your mum”.

Bubbah then asks him if he wants a scrap, and he says “Yes, please. I'm in the caravan.” Bubbah, giggling, says that Tofiga is going to kill her.

Tofiga guesses that the ‘stranger’ is 27 just as Paul blows his whistle. He then receives one more text which reads “Usi”. When Paul asks what it means, Tofiga says that it’s Tongan.

In the studio, when Jeremy comments to Chris Parker (representing Tofiga in the studio) that the conversation had taken a turn, Chris says only that he’s surprised Bubbah even replied. Jeremy notes that he’s glad they hadn’t pair Tofiga up with one of the children.

As Tofiga correctly guessed Bubbah’s age, he earns 5 points.
