Bjarte the pyromaniac clown

As Bjarte dresses in his clown outfit, he continues to provide evidence of his pyromaniacal tendencies by announcing his intention to put lit fireworks in his trousers.
Indeed, Bjarte then lights a sparkler and shoves it down the front of his trousers – definitely burning himself in the process, if his screams are anything to go by – before entering the study, where he jumps around in an attempt to reposition the sparkler, before introducing himself as “Dynamitos Americanos” the clown.
After finally repositioning the sparkler in his trousers, Bjarte admits that he only has one other part of his act. This turns out to also be fire-based, as Bjarte proceeds to swig a mouth full of lighter fluid and spit it at a lighter, creating a ball of fire directly in front of him.
Bjarte then pulls down his trousers to show the hole that the sparkler had burned through his underwear.
In the studio, a shocked Aksel – who has climbed up the side of the house more than once on the show – calls Bjarte’s act “life-threateningly dangerous”, and subsequent discussion seems to imply that the damage done to Bjarte and his underwear was unforeseen, and caused by the material of his underwear [on the official Kongen Befaler podcast, Bjarte also revealed that some of the damage was caused by various tricks he’d had in his pockets that the fireworks had unintentionally ignited].
Marvin awards Bjarte first place, saying simply: “Very funny.”
