Pete accidentally completes the task

After reading the first task brief, Pete asks Tom Cashman if he would like to help him, so Tom does so, looking straight at the camera as he tears the paper up. Pete suggests that it’s like a bonding exercise, and urges Tom to rip the paper up into smaller pieces.

After Pete notes that he hasn’t got time to piece the task brief back together, and that it is impossible to read, Tom hands him the second envelope. Pete reacts by smiling and saying “I think I know what this is and, in advance, fuck you.”

After Tom immediately blows his whistle again, telling Pete that he has completed the task, Pete stares suspiciously at him. He eventually figures out that there was something written on the back of the first task brief, but remains convinced that he hasn’t actually completed the task, despite assurances from Tom.

Still confused, Pete admits that he’s not sure if he regrets telling Tom to fuck himself, and states that he might take that back in the future.

In the studio, when Tom Gleeson asks Pete if he would like to take back his comment, Pete says “No, Tom, I would not.”

It’s revealed that Pete had completed the task in 3 minutes and 5 seconds, which earns him 4 points.
