Dillon spots the clue too late

Dillon immediately spots the red button on the side of the table, and asks what it is for, bit decides not to push it immediately.
He begins his bridge building by trying to chew all the gum, but gives up on this. Instead, he lies the spaghetti and a couple of the drinking straws across the swimming pool, and then places the potato on top of it. His initial bridge design measures as just under 2 inches in height.
After adding the model boat, he increases the height of his bridge to 3.5 inches.
Finally, Dillon adds almost the whole deck of cards, and puts the potato inside a flowerpot. After the pot topples over, he removes the boat from his construction, and his bridge is then measured at 5 inches in height.
Having completed his attempt, Dillon then pushes the red button, which illuminates the light box on the front of the table. Although he doesn’t notice this, he does spot the sign above the door, as he goes to leave the lab, and then finds the additional supplies on the underside of the table. He angrily stabs the potato with one of the pieces of wood, before leaving the lab.
In the studio, Dillon reveals that he thought that maybe the button would make the water level go down.
Dillon earns 4 points for his bridge.
