Freddie complains about the lack of instructions

Freddie initially states that there’s got to be a “really sneaky” way of completing the task.
He begins by fixing some spaghetti strands together and laying them across the swimming pool, giving him a bridge height of 2 inches.
He then adds the small model boat and a few playing cards, before stating that he thinks he gone down the wrong path, and deciding to take a look around the table.
After finding the backlit sign on the front of the table, Freddie states that he can use it in his bridge, as it’s on the table. As he rips the box off the table, he discovers the message ‘Look under the table’ within it, and proceeds to find the bridge building kit on the underside of the table.
Despite now having all of the wood and extra tools, Freddie is still at a loss as to what to do, though. He nails a piece of wood to the side of the table, using a potted cactus as a hammer. He then gaffer-tapes another piece of wood to the other side of the swimming pool, and balances the reel of tape and another small piece of wood on the apex. Finally, he places a deck of cards on top of the construction, followed by the potato. At this point, Freddie’s bridge is measured at 8.5 inches.
With just one and a half minutes left, he removes the deck of cards, and adds a bundle of spaghetti, the model cabana, and the chewing gum, before replacing the potato on top. Just as the whistle blows, though, his whole construction collapses, and the playing cards end up floating in the pool.
In the studio, Reggie notes that Freddie had found the hidden items, in an indirect way, but that “engineering” was not his strong suit (thus coining the episode title). Alex reveals that that Freddie had complained that there were no instructions with the bridge building supplies, so they were “not a kit”.
Freddie wins the task and earns 5 points.
