Jason keeps dropping his jar

Once he’s read the first task brief, Jason removes his glasses and places them on the table. After trapping Jason’s hands underneath the two jars of vinegar, Alex tells him that he can put his glasses back on again, if he wants. Jason responds to this with “Son of a bitch”.

He carefully lifts the jar on his right hand up and brings it back towards himself, but then attempts to yank his hand out from beneath it and immediately catch it, which leads to about two thirds of its contents spilling across the table.

Having freed up one hand, he is able to grab the lid for the other jar and secure it, before screwing the other lid onto his now mostly empty jar.

Leaving the lab with both sealed jars in hand, Jason first visits the living room, noting that it’s “all science-y in here” before then dropping the mostly empty jar on the floor. He then looks for a fish tank in the shed, before finding it under the camo net in the caravan, exclaiming “You fucking assholes”.

He tries to pour his vinegar into the tank using a funnel, but it just seems to be spilling out onto the table. He ends up picking the tank up to look underneath it, discovering that the whole thing is essentially a customised lid for a foot storage container. He removes the tank lid, and pours the rest of his vinegar directly into the container, before giving Alex the middle finger through the caravan window.

In the studio, Alex reveals that Jason had completed the task much faster than Mathew or Stevie, but that the time penalties resulting from his “spillilitres” had netted him a total time of 17 minutes and 29 seconds, which earns him 1 point.
