Rosie excels at pea finding

At the start of her attempt, Rosie emerges from behind a bush next to the temple. When Alex asks her where she’s been, she claims that she’s been for “a little hike around the forest”.

In the first event, Rosie asks Alex if he knows where the pea is, and he claims not to. When she then asks him “The peas don’t talk?”, he states that he doesn’t think that peas can talk, prompting her to admit that “I’ve lost my mind”. She starts looking under cushions at random, and quickly finds the pea, earning the gold medal.

In the carrot tower-building event, Rosie admits to not being great at building things, and then constructs a pile of carrots which quickly falls apart. She then rebuilds a low tower with some of the carrots, and stands one upright in the centre of it, before impaling the pea on its tip. She earns the silver medal.

In the pea-catching event, Rosie stands behind the plinth on the opposite side of the temple to Alex and attempts to catch peas, and successfully catches one in her hand.

In the pea-throwing event, Rosie just throws her pea out into the field, without any thought about what might be coming next.

In the final event, Rosie searches in the general area of the field where she thought the pea had landed, and is not confident about finding it, but then spots it on the ground and laughs excitedly as she retrieves it. She earns the silver medal.

In the studio, Greg describes Rosie’s final triumph as “the most joyous moment so far”, and Alex confirms that she’d found her pea faster than Mathew and Jason had found their carrots, locating it in just a minute and a half.

Rosie earns one gold medal (for pea-finding) and two silvers (for carrot tower-building and pea retrieval), and so earns joint first place with Jason, and 5 points.
